Hai Duong to vote 2023 typical rural industrial products

The People’s Committee of Hai Duong province has issued a plan to take a vote on 2023 typical rural industrial products.

The vote is open to organizations and individuals directly investing in industry and handicraft, including small- and medium-sized businesses, cooperatives, and business households established and operating under legal provisions in the province.

They can submit their brand-new industrial products and handicrafts or those certified in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020.

Their products must not violate regulations on intellectual and industrial property rights, quality standards, occupational safety and hygiene, food safety, and environmental protection and can be mass produced to meet market demand.

Entries will be divided into handicrafts, agro-forestry-fishery products and foodstuffs, mechanical equipment, and others.

The vote aims to detect and honor quality and highly useful products with potential for production development, market expansion, and satisfaction of domestic and international customers’ tastes.

It will contribute to promoting rural industry and handicraft, motivate rural industrial establishments to bring into play their products’ competitive advantages and meet increasingly high requirements of consumers, and make use of local raw materials and labor, having a part in provincial and local socio-economic development.

The vote will take place from July to the end of December 2023.

Products passing the provincial round can enter the Northern and even national round.
