Local authorities continue reviewing and updating voter lists to ensure the voting rights of all eligible voters.

On the morning of March 8, at the headquarters of Duong Kinh Ward, Le Anh Quan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee and head of the city’s Election Committee for Constituency No.1 of the National Assembly of Vietnam, chaired an expanded meeting to review the implementation of preparations for the 16th National Assembly elections.
According to a report by the election committee for National Assembly Constituency No.1 in Hai Phong, as of March 2 the constituency had 462,177 registered voters. Preparations for the nationwide vote are being stepped up across localities.
Authorities have intensified public communication through local broadcasting systems, official websites, social media platforms, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere among residents.

Localities have completed the public posting of voter lists at polling stations. The printing and distribution of voter cards are being carried out on schedule, based the national population database. Preparations for vote-counting teams have also been completed.
Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman praised communes, wards and special zone for their efforts, noting that preparations were on schedule and meeting the required standards.
Local authorities were tasked to continue reviewing and updating voter lists to reflect changes and ensure citizens’ voting rights. Communication efforts should also be further strengthened to provide voters with information on candidates’ biographies and election regulations.
Localities were also instructed to assign additional personnel at polling stations to guide voters, closely supervise the voting process and ensure absolute safety during the vote.
The Standing Vice Chairman stressed that local authorities must take proactive actions to complete their assigned tasks and ensure the success of the election in Hai Phong City.
