Sao Mai Kien Thuy JSC, in coordination with the People's Committee of Kien Hung Commune, Hai Phong, held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Tan Trao Industrial Cluster Technical Infrastructure Construction and Business Management Project on July 31.
Covering 49.97 hectares with a total investment of more than VND 680 billion, the project aims to develop an industrial cluster with synchronized infrastructure and efficient management, providing centralized production space while attracting secondary investment projects aligned with the city's development strategy.

At the ceremony, Sao Mai Kien Thuy JSC pledged to mobilize sufficient financial resources, personnel, equipment, and materials to complete the technical infrastructure within 18 months.
The company also committed to proactively promoting investment and selecting secondary projects in appropriate industries that apply advanced technologies, use land efficiently, and are environmentally friendly. Projects that fail to meet legal requirements or pose environmental pollution risks will not be accepted.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee, said the project groundbreaking marked an important milestone, demonstrating the city's determination to expand industrial development space and gradually transform southern Hai Phong into a new hub for industry, services, and logistics in line with a modern, efficient, and sustainable development strategy.
Once completed, the project will expand the city's industrial land supply, attract business investment, support production expansion, create jobs, increase budget revenues, and promote local economic restructuring.
