Công ty TNHH một thành viên Đóng tàu Nam Triệu ký kết nhiều đơn hàng mới tạo đà để đạt mục tiêu doanh thu năm 2026 và các năm tiếp theo.
Nam Trieu Shipbuilding One-Member Co., Ltd. signs multiple new orders, creating momentum toward achieving its revenue targets for 2026 and subsequent years.

New orders create opportunities for recovery

Bach Dang Shipbuilding One-Member Co., Ltd. has recently laid the keel for a new 14,000-m3 oil and chemical tanker, designated M75-02, for Mercury Line Co., Ltd. This is the second of three specialized vessels currently being built by the company, following the M75-01, which is in the final stages of completion and being prepared for handover.

New orders offer opportunities to maintain production and gradually restore operations at Hai Phong’s shipbuilding enterprises after a prolonged period of difficulties. Alongside Bach Dang, other companies, including Pha Rung and Damen Song Cam, are also seeking opportunities to expand production and improve product quality and value.

Le Dinh Vinh, Deputy General Director of Nam Trieu Shipbuilding One-Member Co., Ltd., said new orders were important to the recovery of shipbuilding operations, helping maintain jobs for workers and gradually improve the utilization of the company’s shipyard capacity. To capitalize on market opportunities, the company continues to improve product quality, ensure delivery schedules and strengthen its competitiveness. Stable production will create further opportunities for the company to contribute to the city’s industrial growth.

Hai Phong’s advantages lie in its established industrial base and experienced workforce. If these strengths are effectively harnessed, shipbuilding could help increase industrial production value, create jobs and promote the development of supporting industries, thereby helping the city achieve its growth targets for 2026 and the 2026-2030 period.

Building momentum

Thiếu nhân lực là một trong những khó khăn ngành đóng tàu cần tháo gỡ để thúc đẩy mục tiêu tăng trưởng.
In 2026, the city is developing a proposal to study the restoration and development of the shipbuilding industry, contributing to its economic growth targets.

Pham Tuan Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, said that despite many difficulties, the shipbuilding industry had made significant contributions to the city’s socio-economic development in recent years.

To capitalize on the industry’s advantages and potential, coordinated solutions are needed in production facilities, human resources, technology and investment attraction. The city is studying measures to gradually address existing difficulties and create favorable conditions for shipbuilding enterprises to recover and develop.

In 2026, the city is undertaking the development of a proposal to study the restoration and development of the shipbuilding industry. This will provide a basis for a comprehensive review of existing capabilities, the identification of areas of comparative advantage, investment needs and necessary support mechanisms.

The proposal can only deliver meaningful results if it identifies specific tasks linked to the responsibilities of individual agencies and organizations, implementation timelines and measurable outcomes.

This is also a requirement in implementing Resolution No. 11-NQ/TU. Growth targets can only be translated into results when they are turned into practical tasks with clearly defined responsibilities for each agency and organization.

For the shipbuilding industry, it is necessary to identify which enterprises have the capacity to expand production, which projects require obstacles to be resolved, what workforce requirements exist, and which supporting industries should be prioritized for development.

For Hai Phong, developing the shipbuilding industry is one way to harness its marine economic advantages and established industrial base. Turning potential into production capacity, policy directions into specific tasks, and tasks into tangible results is essential for the shipbuilding industry to make a more substantial contribution to the city’s growth targets in the coming years.
