Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Ngoc Chau has sent a letter of thanks to 19 transport and travel companies and business households for accompanying the city in offering free rides to more than 5,600 residents to visit the National Achievements Exhibition.
After four days of operation, the “people’s buses” program has created an atmosphere of excitement and pride across Hai Phong city. Thousands of residents were transported free of charge to the National Achievements Exhibition at the National Exhibition Center in Ha Noi.
On September 11, Chairman the city People’s Committee Le Ngoc Chau sent a letter of thanks to 19 transport and travel companies and business households for organizing 143 buses that safely, thoughtfully, and effectively served 5,661 passengers.

In the letter, the Chairman affirmed that this was a practical initiative, creating favorable conditions for people to access and witness the remarkable achievements of the nation and Hai Phong over the past 80 years. The buses contributed to awakening pride and patriotism, inspiring aspirations and solidarity to jointly build Hai Phong into a fast-growing, green, sustainable, and worth-living city.
The city recognized and highly appreciated the social responsibility and active response of the business community. These free buses not only brought practical benefits to the people but also created a positive image of a dynamic and compassionate Hai Phong.
In the letter, the Chairman respectfully called on the businesses to continue accompanying the city during the remaining four days of the exhibition so that the “people’s buses” would truly leave a deep impression on the hearts of the people and friends nationwide.
