Party members leading in work and innovation

As Hai Phong city steps up industrialization and modernization, attracts investment and develops high-tech industries, Party members in businesses are increasingly playing a core role, helping raise labor productivity and build safe, modern working environments.

Dang Duc Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong Rural Clean Water JSC, said that in the first six months of this year, most of the company's production and business targets met or exceeded its plan. Water production reached more than 9.94 million m3, commercial water sales exceeded 8.43 million m3, revenue topped VND 71 billion, and more than 1,000 new customers were added.

These results were partly attributable to Party cadres and members, who stepped up digital transformation, cost control, electronic contract signing, cashless payments and application of technology in management and administration, thereby improving customer service quality.

Promoting a pioneering and exemplary spirit, Pham Dang Doan, a Party member of the Party Cell of Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Dai An Industrial Park, Tu Minh Ward, is always at the forefront of production work. He actively researches and develops innovations, proposing technical improvement solutions to reduce costs and raise productivity.

After 15 years with the company, Doan and his colleagues have developed dozens of initiatives that have been widely applied, helping promote the “Good Labor, Creative Labor” movement. Some of these initiatives have generated economic benefits worth billions of VND.

Close to workers, engaged with business operations

For Party organizations to play their role in businesses, each Party member must first be pioneering and exemplary at work, match words with actions, take responsibility and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. This helps strengthen trust, build consensus and enhance the role of Party organizations.

As Secretary of the Party Cell and a manager at Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd., Do Phuong Nhung not only conveys information from the Party committee to Party members but also regularly talks with workers and learns about their thoughts and aspirations.

“When workers have something they do not understand or are concerned about, we listen first. Once I understand their concerns, I share and discuss them with the company's leaders to find appropriate and timely solutions,” Nhung said.

Party members in businesses also play a role in guiding and supporting outstanding employees in their training and efforts to join the Party, helping improve the quality of new Party members. Increasing numbers of Party members are taking on management and team-leader positions and demonstrating solid professional and technical expertise, making positive contributions to business operations.

Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh, Secretary of the Party Cell of Iko Thompson Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that when employees faced difficulties completing their applications because the procedures were still largely manual, the Party Cell established an outstanding employee group and a “Party Membership Admission Support Team” to promptly discuss and resolve problems. Each Party member was assigned to monitor, mentor and guide employees step by step and report progress periodically through an online group. As a result, difficulties with Party membership application documents and admission procedures were resolved in a timely manner.
