Standing Vice Chairman Le Anh Quan inspects Hai Phong’s zone at National Achievements Exhibition

Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Anh Quan inspected the operation of the city’s areas at the National Achievements Exhibition marking the 80th National Day at the National Exhibition Center in Ha Noi on September 7 afternoon.

Quan affirmed that this is an important opportunity to promote the city’s image, potential, and strengths to domestic and international friends. He stressed that Hai Phong’s participation in this exhibition not only highlights the city’s position and role in the integration process but also helps foster pride, solidarity, and aspirations for strong development in the port city.

He asked departments, sectors, and relevant units to closely coordinate to ensure safe and effective operation of the city’s exhibition areas to leave good impression on visitors.

The Standing Vice Chairman also suggested that transport and travel businesses to join hands with the city in arranging free means to enable all people to visit and experience the exhibition.

Hai Phong participates in the National Achievements Exhibition with an indoor display zone at the Kim Quy building and nearly 10,000 m2 of outdoor space, showcasing outstanding achievements in the fields of economy, culture, society, defense, security, and foreign affairs.

Hai Phong’s exhibition areas have been highly appreciated for its modernity, diversity, and interactivity, recreating the 80-year journey of national construction and defense, and affirming the city’s role as a driving force for development in the region and the country.

The city authorities are providing free bus services to take residents to the exhibition from the morning of September 8 to the end of September 15, with two pick-up and drop-off points in eastern and western parts of the city.
