After more than a year of launching, Hai Phong journalists have been producing high-quality works to compete in the 2025–2026 City Press Awards.

On the morning of May 22, the Hai Phong Journalists’ Association held a meeting to promote the Hai Phong City Press Awards 2025–2026. Attendees included representatives from municipal departments and agencies, city-based media outlets, and reporters from both national and local news organizations.

The Hai Phong City Press Awards are held every two years. Launched in June 2025, the awards attracted strong interest from a wide range of press and media organizations.
More than a year after the launch, many association members and contributors have been creating high-quality journalistic works for publication and for submission to the 2025–2026 City Press Awards. Entries span formats from printed newspaper, online media to radio and television vividly reflect all areas of the city’s socio-economic life.

Under the rules, entries to the City Press Awards 2025–2026 must have been used or published by domestic media agencies from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026. Winners will be announced on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 2027).
The awards structure includes 55 prizes across formats: radio, television, printed newspaper, online newspapar, and press photography. The organizing committee will award prizes in different categories, each with 1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes and 5 consolation prizes.
