The city’s simultaneous kick-off of several large-scale industrial zones and clusters during the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2026 signals a strong development momentum.

Notably, this effort is not merely about expanding industrial land or attracting more investors; it is about forming a new labor ecosystem where workers not only have jobs but also need living environments, services and opportunities for long-term development.

Strategic transport projects such as the road linking National Highway 5 with National Highway 10, the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway, and Van Uc 2 Bridge will serve more than economic growth. These works also shorten travel distances, expand urban space, connect housing with workplaces, and enable the formation of new residential, service and commercial areas around industrial zones.

Hai Phong is no longer pursuing industrial growth alone; the city is gradually building a comprehensive development ecosystem around industrial areas. That ecosystem includes transport infrastructure, logistics, housing, services, vocational training and living environments for workers. It is an important foundation for the city to improve the quality of investment attraction in the new phase.
