Officials elected Deputy Chairmen of Hai Phong People’s Council and People’s Committee

The Hai Phong People’s Council convened its 4th session of the 17th tenure on August 10 at the City Convention and Performance Center.

At the session, Council Members voted to elect additional Deputy Chairmen of the Municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee.

With 100% of the votes in favor, Le Tri Vu, Member of the Municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Head of the Municipal Party Committee’s Organization Commission, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council for the 17th tenure, 2026 – 2031 term.

Dao Trong Duc, Member of the Municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Standing Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee for the 17th tenure, 2026 – 2031 term.

In his closing remarks, Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council, said the unanimous election results demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, as well as the trust placed by Council Members in the newly elected officials.

On behalf of the Standing Board of the Municipal People’s Council, Hieu expressed his confidence that the new Deputy Chairmen of the Municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee would continue to demonstrate their capabilities, resolve and dedication, uphold the tradition of solidarity and commitment, and work with the leadership of the Municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee to continuously innovate and improve the effectiveness, proactiveness and flexibility of leadership and administration.
