The National Assembly Standing Committee and the Prime Minister have approved the results of the election of vice chairmen of the Hai Phong People's Council and Committee.

The National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1882/NQ-UBTVQH15 on October 31, approving the election of a vice chairman of the 16th Hai Phong People's Council, 2021 – 2026 tenure.
Accordingly, Dao Trong Duc, Member of the Standing Board of the Hai Phong Party Committee, Chief of the city Party Committee Office, and Member of the 16th city People's Council, holds the position of vice chairman of the city People's Council as from October 26, 2025.
On the same day, the Prime Minister issued decisions approving the results of the election of vice chairmen of the city People's Committee for the 2021 – 2026 tenure.
Under Decision No. 2425/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election of Vu Tien Phung, Member of the Standing Board of the city Party Committee and Director of the Department of Home Affairs, as vice chairman of the city People's Committee.
Under Decision No. 2426/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election of Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Board of the city Party Committee and Head of the city Economic Zone Authority, as vice chairman of the city People's Committee.
Earlier, at the 30th session held on October 26, members of the city People's Council elected Dao Trong Duc as vice chairman of the council, and Vu Tien Phung and Le Trung Kien as vice chairmen of the city People's Committee for the 2021 – 2026 tenure.
