The 16th Hai Phong People's Council, 2021–2026 term, approved 21 resolutions, including two on personnel and 19 on socio-economic issues during its 30th session on October 26 afternoon.
The two resolutions on personnel confirmed the results of the election of a vice chairman of the city People's Council and two vice chairmen of the city People's Committee for the 2021–2026 term.
The 19 socio-economic resolutions included a resolution on applying legal normative documents issued by the former Hai Phong People's Council and the former Hai Duong People's Council for Hai Phong city after merger; a resolution on abolishing legal normative documents issued by the former Hai Phong People's Council and the former Hai Duong People's Council; a resolution on establishing the city Development Investment Fund by merging those of the former Hai Phong city and Hai Duong province; a resolution on adjusting and supplementing the city’s medium-term public investment plan for 2021–2025; a resolution on adjusting and supplementing the city’s 2025 public investment plan; a resolution on regulations regarding criteria, conditions, procedures, and tax incentives for startups, innovation, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence activities in Hai Phong city...
