Officials elected Deputy Chairmen of Hai Phong People’s Council and People’s Committee

The Hai Phong People’s Council has elected additional Deputy Chairmen of the Municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee.

The Hai Phong People’s Council convened its 4th session of the 17th tenure on August 10 at the City Convention and Performance Center.

At the session, Council Members voted to elect additional Deputy Chairmen of the Municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee.

Các đồng chí: Lê Ngọc Châu, Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Thành ủy, Trưởng Đoàn đại biểu Quốc hội thành phố Hải Phòng; Đỗ Mạnh Hiến, Phó Bí thư Thường trực Thành ủy bỏ phiếu bầu Phó Chủ tịch HĐND và Phó Chủ tịch UBND thành phố.
Le Ngoc Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Head of the Municipal National Assembly Delegation, and Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, cast ballots to elect Deputy Chairmen of the Municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee.

With 100% of the votes in favor, Le Tri Vu, Member of the Municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Head of the Municipal Party Committee’s Organization Commission, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council for the 17th tenure, 2026 – 2031 term.

Dao Trong Duc, Member of the Municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Standing Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee for the 17th tenure, 2026 – 2031 term.

In his closing remarks, Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council, said the unanimous election results demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, as well as the trust placed by Council Members in the newly elected officials.
