Hai Phong Thematic Research Board holds first meeting

Le Ngoc Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and Head of the Hai Phong Thematic Research Board, chaired the first meeting of the board on On September 29 to hear reports and discuss several issues.

In his concluding remarks, Chau asked the opinions raised at the meeting to be incorporated into and used to finalize the draft reports.

Regarding the draft report of the City Party Committee on the results of implementing tasks in the first nine months and tasks and solutions for the final three months of 2026, the Secretary of the City Party Committee noted that the context and situation should be supplemented and clarified, and that areas with substantial room for development and the potential to compete with other localities in attracting investment should be identified. This would help enhance the attractiveness of the city's investment environment.

Regarding the draft preliminary report on three months of implementing Resolution No. 11-NQ/TU of the City Party Committee on strengthening leadership and direction in achieving the GRDP growth target of at least 13% per year in the final six months of 2026 and throughout the 2026-2030 period, the Secretary of the City Party Committee required that the context and necessity of issuing the resolution, as well as lessons learned during its implementation, be supplemented and clarified.

These include thoroughly disseminating and seriously implementing resolutions and conclusions of the Party Central Committee and the Government; remaining steadfast in pursuing the set targets; implementing the resolution in a scientific and systematic manner in conjunction with organizing and inspecting its implementation; and building consensus and determination in leadership and direction, among other measures.
