Cases treated at Hai Phong’s medical facilities included traffic accidents, domestic accidents, food poisoning, fighting-related injuries, and other emergency situations.
During the 4-day National Day holiday (from August 30 to September 2), medical facilities across Hai Phong city provided examinations and emergency treatment for nearly 12,200 cases involving traffic accidents, domestic accidents, food poisoning, fighting-related injuries, and other emergency situations. More than 3,000 of these patients required hospitalization.
Security and order at hospitals were maintained throughout the holiday, with no thefts reported in offices or patient rooms and no conflicts between patients, family members, and medical staff.
Hospitals were fully prepared with medicines, IV fluids, blood supplies, equipment, and other resources needed for emergency care.
Emergency duty shifts at hospitals were carried out in compliance with regulations. Hospitals also visited and presented gifts to patients in especially difficult circumstances.
Patient transport and emergency services provided by the 115 Emergency Center were ensured.
