In the first days of the National Day holiday, tourist destinations in western Hai Phong recorded a significant increase in visitors.
From August 30 to September 1, Con Son – Kiep Bac relic site welcomed nearly 3,000 visitors. The ecological tourism area of Dao Co (Stork Island) in Nam Thanh Mien commune received more than 500 visitors on September 1 alone.
The rise in visitors is attributed to favorable weather and the launch of several new tours. At Con Son, tourists eagerly joined heritage tours, the challenge of Ban Co Tien (Fairy Chess Board), and explored the mysteries of Ngu Nhac temple, combined with hands-on experiences.
During this occasion, Con Son stream also attracted large numbers of tourists coming for sightseeing, picnics, and enjoying the fresh natural environment. The management board arranged various facilities for visitors, including rustic cuisine, hands-on activities such as painting on conical hats, painting statues, wearing traditional costumes, cultural exchanges, as well as camping areas and safe, convenient resting spaces along the stream.
According to management units, the number of visitors is expected to continue rising in the final days of the National Day holiday.
