Enterprises in Hai Phong are proactively developing and implementing production and business plans from the very beginning of 2026.

Orders in hand, production stepped up
Many businesses in Hai Phong have moved quickly to prepare plans and ramp up production and business activities from the start of the new year, with the goal of stabilizing jobs and incomes for workers.
Mr. Muneha Hiroshi, General Director of Wayne Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japan–Hai Phong Industrial Park), said the company is strengthening cooperation with traditional partners while actively tapping into new ones. The volume of orders expected in 2026 is estimated at around six million products. Wayne Vietnam continues to seek customers in potential markets such as the United States and Europe, while working toward obtaining the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certification as a foundation for expanding partnerships.
In 2025, Wayne Vietnam made strong efforts to maintain employment for its entire workforce. Annual leave was scheduled during slower production periods, ensuring employees enjoyed their full entitlements.
Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dai An Industrial Park) currently employs about 2,400 workers, with an average monthly income of more than VND 15 million per employee.
In 2025, Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Duong Industrial Park) recorded a year-on-year revenue increase of approximately 25%. With a relatively stable flow of new orders in 2026, the company plans to expand its factory facilities in Hai Phong, invest in equipment, and recruit around 1,000 additional workers to meet production and business demand.

Harmonious labor relations maintained
Ensuring workers’ incomes and benefits remains a priority for enterprises.
Tinh Loi Garment Co., Ltd. (Nam Sach Industrial Park) commended 10 workers with the highest incomes, each earning more than VND 21 million in December. To retain its existing workforce and attract new employees, the trade union of Brother Co., Ltd. (Phuc Dien Industrial Park, Mao Dien Commune) proposed adjustment on regional minimum wage increases.
Across most enterprises in the city, labor relations between employers and employees have seen relatively harmonious, with emerging issues largely addressed through dialogus. According to reports from relevant agencies and localities, labor relations at enterprises in Hai Phong in 2025 maintained basically stable.
In 2025, the Hai Phong Industrial Park Trade Union managed about 580 grassroots trade unions with more than 311,000 workers. According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Industrial Park Trade Union, the union has stepped up the application of digital transformation solutions. It has also strengthened the collection of feedback and proposed timely solutions to issues related to workers’ legitimate rights and interests, contributing to a reduction in job-hopping and collective strikes.
Identifying workers as a decisive factor in the success of production and business plans for 2026, the Hai Phong Department of Home Affairs has intensified coordination with the Hai Phong City Confederation of Labor, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, and local authorities to regularly grasp the labor relations at enterprises across the city.
Particular attention has been paid to ensuring employment and incomes for workers, with grassroots trade unions playing a key role. Alongside the city’s investment attraction policies, the Department of Home Affairs is focusing on proposing solutions to attract workers from other provinces to Hai Phong.
