Do Son Ward is actively preparing to organize the 2026 Dau Island Festival with numerous distinctive cultural and spiritual activities.
According to the Do Son Ward People's Committee, Hai Phong City, the flag-raising ceremony to open the Dau Island Festival will commence at 8:00 AM on March 19, 2026 (Lunar February 1), and the maini-offering ceremony will occur at 11:05 PM on March 27, 2026 (Lunar February 9).
In addition to the rituals, the festival also has many cultural and sports activities. Highlights include the Chinese chess tournament on March 22, 2026, and the 4th Expanded Do Son Chau Van Singing Performance Festival in 2026 on March 27, 2026, which contribute to honoring the traditional folk artistic values of the Do Son coastal region.
