The 3rd National Press Forum 2026, regarded as one of the country’s largest gatherings for journalists and media professionals, officially opened at on June 19 in Hai Phong City.

On the 101st anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925–2026), in the framework of the National Press Festival 2026 themed “Vietnamese Journalism: Loyalty, Creativity, Responsibility in the New Era,” the 3rd National Press Forum 2026 officially opened at on June 19 in Hai Phong City.
The event serves as a major gathering for journalists nationwide, with media agencies, journalist association members, reporters and journalism enthusiasts taking part in a wide range of professional, networking and interactive activities.
The forum is being held on June 19 and 20, featuring 11 sessions, including opening and closing sessions and nine thematic discussions.

Discussions focus on key issues affecting journalism today, including safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation, developing media economics, journalism copyright in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), promoting Vietnam’s image through digital media ecosystems, AI applications in newsroom operations, restructuring media organizations, policy communication and strategies for greater financial autonomy in media agencies in the digital era.
