Many reports and recommendations submitted by residents through Smart Hai Phong are resolved on the same day.
One touch to send reports and recommendation directly to the authorities
Previously, to report pressing issues or make proposals, residents in Hai Phong had to contact local authorities in person. Since the launch of the Smart Hai Phong app, residents can send reports and recommendations to relevant agencies within seconds through a few simple steps on the app.
According to statistics from the 1022 hotline, from June to September, Smart Hai Phong received nearly 2,000 reports and recommendations from residents across the city. More than 1,500 have been resolved, while hundreds are being processed.
Implementing the municipal People’s Committee’s direction, the Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology has introduced a new interface and added features to make the app easier and more convenient for residents to use and to interact with local authorities.
Contributing to building a civilized, modern city
Since it began operating, the Smart Hai Phong app has recorded about 260,000 downloads and more than 3.1 million instances of users accessing and using its features and utilities.
The app serves as an official channel connecting the government and residents, supporting on-site issue reporting, administrative information lookup, tracking of case-processing progress, and access to the city’s directives and administrative information. Residents can also monitor the status of their recommendations and rate their satisfaction with the handling process.
The Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology is continuing to upgrade and update new features and utilities for Smart Hai Phong, with the goal of making it a unified digital interaction channel that helps residents and businesses access information, services, and utilities and connect with government agencies in the digital environment.
With residents’ support, Smart Hai Phong has the potential to become a practical, accessible digital platform that helps improve the quality of governance and public services, contributing to developing Hai Phong to become a smart, civilized, modern, and livable city.
