Paving the way for Hai Phong to become a 'Music City'

Hai Phong City has officially inaugurated the Hoa Phuong Theater, a large-scale, modern cultural venue seating over 1,300. Beyond serving as a new cultural facility, it signals the port city's determination to elevate its artistic performance spaces. Immediately following the opening ceremony, the ‘New Year Concert 2026’ took place in an exciting atmosphere, drawing enthusiastic crowds.

Upcoming music events in Hai Phong further highlight the vibrant artistic scene. On March 28, the ‘Chi Linh - Phoenix Melody’ concert at Sao Do Square will feature famous young artists like Duong Domic, Phuong My Chi, and Gemini Hung Huynh. This will be followed by the ‘Spring Time’ show on April 10 at Hoa Phuong Theater, showcasing Phan Manh Quynh, Hoang Hai, Tang Phuc, and Truong Thao Nhi, who are vocalists spanning diverse musical styles.

Hosting successive large-scale programs with top artists acts as ‘magnets’ drawing music lovers, gradually cultivating music appreciation habits. This is one of importan factors to build a vibrant music environment and market.

This initiative ties into socio-economic strategies, targeting a spot among the world's top 100 most livable cities by 2030 and UNESCO's Creative Cities Network by 2045.
