A delegation of Hai Phong’s leaders have visited and offered incense at Dong Loc T-junction and Cau Nhe martyrs’ cemeteries in Ha Tinh province.
On the morning of July 27, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau and a delegation of the city leaders offered incense and flowers at the national memorial house for young volunteer martyrs, which honors more than 4,000 youth volunteers who sacrificed their lives for the nation, on the occasion of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).
The delegation also paid tribute at the graves of 10 heroic female youth volunteers who bravely laid down their lives at Dong Loc T-junction, a special national historical site in Ha Tinh province.
Also in Ha Tinh, the delegation offered incense at Cau Nhe Martyrs' Cemetery, which, alongside Dong Loc, once served as a vital gateway connecting the northern rear with the southern frontlines.
The delegation commemorated the heroic martyrs who forever rest in Can Loc, including 53 soldiers of the Yen Tu Regiment, who hailed from Hai Phong.
On this occasion, Hai Phong city presented 1 billion VND to Ha Tinh province to support local social welfare programs. The delegation also gave gifts to encourage the management boards of General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave site, Dong Loc T-junction special national historical site, and Cau Nhe Martyrs' Cemetery.
