Hai Duong provincial authorities must objectively evaluate and frankly acknowledge limitations in improving the provincial business and investment environment, thereby working out remedies with a determination to heighten the provincial competitiveness.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung made the remark at the 3rd regular April meeting of the provincial People's Committee on April 19.

Hung suggested that departments, sectors, and localities change their working methods and listen to businesses to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles and accompany investors during research for investment.

He asked authorities at all levels to publicly and transparently carry out procedures according to their assigned tasks to minimize unofficial costs for businesses.

They should strengthen administrative discipline and improve the quality of administration and service, Hung noted.
