Customs Sub-Department of Region III exceeds budget revenue target by 22.5%

According to the Customs Sub-Department of Region III, by the end of December 9, the unit had collected 81.598 trillion VND in budget revenue, exceeding the assigned estimate by 22.5%, up 23.4% year on year, surpassing the Hai Phong People’s Committee’s scenario by 8.7%, and reaching 92.3% of the target assigned by the General Department of Customs at 88.4 trillion VND.

In the first 10 days of December alone, the sub-department collected nearly 3 trillion VND in budget revenue.

Several units recorded high revenue, exceeding targets, including Hai Phong Port Customs Zone 1, Dinh Vu Port Customs, and Hai Duong Customs.

Many import commodities with large turnover contributed to the increase in budget revenue compared with the same period in 2024, such as automobiles, machinery and equipment, auto parts and components, petroleum, and furniture.

From now until the end of the year, the sub-department will continue to step up revenue collection efforts, striving to fulfill the State budget revenue target for 2025.
