Hai Phong city commits to accompanying businesses in building an open, transparent and efficient investment and business environment.

Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan, together with a leader of the Customs Sub-department of Region III, commends and rewards outstanding enterprises contributing large revenues to the city.

The Customs Sub-department of Region III held its 2025 business meeting on November 18, with the participation of 220 outstanding enterprises in Hai Phong.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee Tran Van Quan, on behalf of the city leaders, commended and acknowledged the results achieved by the sub-department over the past time.

In the coming period, Hai Phong will continue to synchronously implement solutions to achieve the goal of rapid and sustainable development, becoming a modern logistics and seaport hub of the region, targeting GRDP growth of over 12% and State budget revenue exceeding 190 trillion VND, according to Vice Chairman Tran Van Quan.

To achieve these goals, he suggested that the Customs Sub-department continue promoting its tradition, accelerating reform and modernization, and effectively implementing new models such as centralized clearance, digital customs and smart customs. Businesses are encouraged to strengthen cooperation and comply with customs laws to build a transparent, fair and sustainable trade environment. Departments, sectors and localities must coordinate closely with the Customs Sub-department in supporting enterprises and addressing bottlenecks in logistics, warehousing, infrastructure connectivity and human resources.

The Vice Chairman affirmed that Hai Phong is committed to continuing to accompany businesses, the customs sector and Central agencies based in the city to build an open, transparent and efficient investment and business environment, contributing to fulfilling the city’s socio-economic development goals for 2025 and the following years.

According to leaders of the Customs Sub-department of Region III, by October 18, the sub-department had collected 66.6 trillion VND in State budget revenue, surpassing the estimate and achieving the year’s target 75 days early.

By November 18, State budget revenue had reached nearly 75 trillion VND, exceeding the estimate by 11.2%. The sub-department is the first unit nationwide to complete its budget revenue target among assigned units.

Along with that, the Customs Sub-department of Region III continued to accelerate customs reform and modernization toward digital and smart customs and prepared adequate resources to effectively implement the centralized clearance model, helping reduce time and costs for businesses.
