By the end of October, Hai Phong’s total State budget revenue had surpassed 162.875 trillion VND, 10.5% higher than the 2025 target assigned by the Central government and 32% higher than the same period last year, reported the city People’s Committee.
Of this amount, domestic revenue reached over 89.233 trillion VND, up 19.6% over the year’s target and 43.3% year-on-year; import and export tax revenue totaled more than 69.116 trillion VND, 3.8% higher than the year’s target and 19.3% higher than the same period last year.
Notably, within domestic revenue, land-use revenue exceeded 38.252 trillion VND, a surge of 45.2% against the year’s target and 99% year-on-year.
These results were attributed to the city’s efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the Steering Committee for Combating Budget Revenue Losses, ensuring accurate and sufficient tax collection; strengthen tax debt recovery; accelerate land valuation and auction procedures; and focus on investment in key infrastructure projects, especially in seaports, airports, and industrial parks.
