The People’s Committee of Hai Phong City has just issued a plan on completing shared databases and sector‑specific databases for 2026.

The plan sets the goal of reviewing, standardizing, updating, and connecting all databases of departments and agencies, under the criteria of being accurate, sufficient, clean, live, unified and shared. At the same time, these databases will be integrated into the city’s data warehouse and data‑sharing platform to effectively support management and the online processing of administrative procedures.

All existing databases must be reviewed, standardized, connected, and shared by June 30, 2026.

The Department of Science and Technology is assigned to take the lead in developing supporting tools, technical guidance, system‑connection procedures, and progress monitoring for the whole city.

The completion of shared and sector‑specific databases will serve as a core foundation for advancing the city’s digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
