Hai Phong cuts processing time by at least 50% for over 1,900 administrative procedures

In implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private sector development, Hai Phong has stepped up administrative reform and digital transformation to create a more open and business-friendly environment for residents and enterprises.

To date, the city has reduced the processing time for 1,949 administrative procedures. Of these, 1,680 out of 1,907 procedures at the city level and 269 out of 313 procedures at the commune level have had their processing time cut by 50% or more.

A total of 1,555 administrative procedures across the city can now be completed regardless of administrative boundaries, allowing residents and businesses to choose the most convenient location to complete procedures while reducing travel time and costs.

Hai Phong's administrative procedure reduction and simplification efforts have met the targets set under the Politburo’s Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW as well as the city's 2026 administrative reform objectives in support of its goal of achieving double-digit economic growth.
