Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Cao Huy and Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, have presented 20 gifts to honor policy beneficiary families and revolution contributors in Ha Bac commune.
On the morning of August 10, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Cao Huy, a native of Ha Bac commune, and Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, presented 20 gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and those who had rendered meritorious service to the revolution in the locality. Each gift was worth 250,000 VND along with 1 million VND in cash.
The recipients included war invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs’ relatives, victims of Agent Orange, and veterans of the resistance wars. Among them were those who had endured war wounds and losses, and relatives who continue to safeguard the memory of sons, husbands, and fathers who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Speaking at the gift presenting ceremony, Deputy Minister Cao Huy affirmed that the Party and State always remember the contributions of previous generations. He called on local Party committees, authorities, and residents to continue caring for and effectively implementing preferential policies for those with meritorious service, while fostering the great national unity bloc to advance the socio-economic development of both the locality and the nation.
