Permanent Deputy Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Deputy Delegation La Thanh Tan has visited and presented gifts to two families of Agent Orange/dioxin victims in Vinh Thinh commune.
On the occasion of the 64th Day for Agent Orange/dioxin Victims (August 10, 1961 –2025), Permanent Deputy Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Deputy Delegation La Thanh Tan visited and presented gifts to two families affected by Agent Orange/dioxin in Vinh Thinh commune on the morning of August 6.
The delegation visited the home of Dang Ba Xi, born in 1938, in Chanh Chu 1 hamlet and Nguyen Van Muoi, born in 1954, in Tam Thuong 3 hamlet. Both Xi and Muoi are resistance war veterans exposed to chemical agents.
At each household, Tan kindly inquired about the victims’ health, shared in their hardships, and expressed sympathy for the suffering borne by both the victims and their families. He encouraged them to stay resilient, maintain optimism, and continue striving in life.
The official also called on local Party committees and authorities to provide sustained care, encouragement, and support to help these families overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
On this occasion, the delegation has presented 60 gifts worth a total of 60 million VND to families of Agent Orange/dioxin victims across the city.
