Vietravel Airlines will operate the Hai Phong - Ho Chi Minh City route starting October 1, giving passengers more travel options and strengthening connections between the port city and the country’s major economic center in the south.
According to a representative of Cat Bi International Airport, Vietravel Airlines will begin operating the Hai Phong - Ho Chi Minh City route on October 1.
In the initial period, from October 1 to 24, the airline will operate daily flights using Airbus A320/A321 aircraft. This marks the first time Vietravel Airlines has operated a regular route at Cat Bi International Airport.
According to the flight schedule, flight VU1102 from Ho Chi Minh City will depart at 5:35 pm and arrive at Cat Bi at 7:35 pm. In the Hai Phong - Ho Chi Minh City direction, flight VU1103 will depart at 8:10 pm and arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport at 10:15 pm. Flights from Ho Chi Minh City will operate every day of the week.
The addition of another airline operating the Hai Phong - Ho Chi Minh City route will increase air transport capacity on a route with high travel demand, giving passengers more choices of airlines and flight times.
