Direct flights from Hai Phong to popular tourist destinations resumed

According to Cat Bi International Airport, from February 6, 2026, Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will resume direct flights from Hai Phong to Cam Ranh (Nha Trang), Phu Quoc and Buon Ma Thuot to meet rising travel demand during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The Hai Phong–Cam Ranh route will operate daily. Flights between Hai Phong and Phu Quoc will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, while the Hai Phong–Buon Ma Thuot service will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays each week, with convenient flight schedules for passengers. Previously, Vietnam Airlines suspended these direct routes from Hai Phong in 2022 and 2023.

Currently, Hai Phong is connected by domestic air routes to several major destinations across the country, including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat and Can Tho.

Maintaining and expanding domestic air routes gives residents of Hai Phong and nearby areas more flexible travel options, while helping ease pressure on air services during peak holiday periods.
