Hai Phong – Da Lat flight route to resume operations soon

According to a representative of Cat Bi International Airport, after a period of suspension due to the closure of Lien Khuong International Airport (Lam Dong) for maintenance, Vietjet Air is expected to resume operating the Hai Phong – Da Lat route in August.

The Hai Phong – Da Lat route will be reinstated with a frequency of four round-trip flights per week. The resumption is expected to provide more convenient travel options for residents and tourists, while contributing to boosting tourism demand and trade between the two localities after the disruption.

Cat Bi International Airport is coordinating with airlines and ground service providers to prepare necessary conditions in terms of manpower, equipment, operating procedures, and passenger services to be ready for the resumption of the Hai Phong – Da Lat route.

Previously, from early March 2026, all flights to and from Lien Khuong Airport were temporarily suspended to allow construction work, including runway and taxiway upgrades. As a result, the Hai Phong – Da Lat route was also halted.

Before the suspension, at Cat Bi International Airport, the Hai Phong – Da Lat route was operated at a frequency of about four round-trip flights per week, meeting the travel demand of residents and tourists, especially during holidays, summer, and peak tourism seasons in Da Lat.
