Techfest Haiphong 2025 concludes, spreading innovation spirit

On October 11, the Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology held the closing ceremony of Techfest Haiphong 2025, the city’s largest event dedicated to science, technology, and innovation this year, after three days of vibrant activities.

At the ceremony, a memorandum of understanding on business and investment cooperation in research and technology transfer regarding Vietnamese lingzhi mushroom extraction was signed between Just Green Agriculture Co., Ltd. from South Korea and Ba Mien Pharmaceutical JSC. from Hai Phong.

The organizing committee also honored and presented certificates to 18 outstanding businesses, organizations, and partners for their active contributions, product display, experience sharing, and spreading of the innovation spirit. Among them were Viettel Hai Phong, Hai Phong Telecommunications, 1Office JSC., ELSA Co., Ltd., BKAV JSC., LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd.’s branch in Ha Noi, Viindoo JSC., and Silicom.

Within the framework of the event, a series of specialized activities were held, including the forum “Resolution 57 – the runway for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation” and seminars on generative AI, Halal standards, marine science and technology, and the semiconductor industry. These sessions attracted thousands of delegates, experts, and enterprises from both Vietnam and abroad to share experiences and discuss sustainable development solutions.

Notably, the participation of the Korea Innovation Foundation opened up opportunities for cooperation, technology transfer, and the strengthening of the innovation ecosystem.

The exhibition areas featured nearly 200 participating units with more than 175 booths showcasing technology products, OCOP goods, and local specialties, attracting over 2,000 visitors per day. In addition, the event’s online platform at https://techfesthaiphong.vn/ recorded an average of 1,000 visits daily.

This year’s Techfest Haiphong 2025 not only spread the spirit of innovation and strong connectivity, inspiring entrepreneurial aspirations, but also concretized the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

The event helped elevate Hai Phong’s position on the national innovation map, foster the knowledge-based economy, and promote global integration. It also affirmed the city’s determination to become a modern scientific and technological hub with regional and international influence.
