Sharing experience in operating press agencies

On the afternoon of April 10, a working delegation from the Da Nang NNewspaper, Radio and Television, led by Mr. Hong Quang Nam, Deputy Director, held a meeting with the leadership of the Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio and Television to exchange experiences on organizational models and journalistic operations in the new period.

Receiving and working with the delegation was Mr. Pham Van Tuan, Member of the City Party Committee and Director of the Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio and Television, along with members of the Board of Directors and heads of professional departments.

At the meeting, both sides exchanged and shared various contents on the practical implementation of press agency models after restructuring, based on the merger of provincial-level administrative units from July 1, 2025, aiming to streamline the organizational apparatus and enhance the efficiency of multimedia journalism operations.

The discussions focused on personnel organization; the development of economic and technical norms; and restructuring and consolidating the organizational apparatus toward being streamlined, efficient, effective, and high-performing. The two agencies also discussed workflows for producing different types of journalism and promoting the application of technology in management, operations, and content production.

Hai Phong and Da Nang are two localities with a long-standing and strong twinning relationship. On that foundation, cooperation and coordination between their press agencies have continued to expand and deepen, contributing to improving the quality of information and communication, while further strengthening a comprehensive and sustainable partnership between the two cities.
