As travel demand continues to rise ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year, the railway sector will operate an additional 22 passenger train services to better serve passengers.

From February 14 to 22, the additional services aim to meet the demand for Tet homebound travel and early spring trips. The extra trains will run on key routes, including Hanoi–Da Nang (two services), Hanoi–Vinh (16 services), and Hanoi–Lao Cai (four services), providing around 7,300 additional seats.

On the Hanoi–Da Nang route, train SE17 will depart Hanoi at 8:25 p.m. on February 13, 2026, while train SE18 will depart Da Nang at 6:50 p.m. on February 14, 2026. On the Hanoi–Lao Cai route, train SP1 will depart Hanoi at 9:35 p.m. on February 17, 18 and 19, 2026, and train SP2 will depart Lao Cai Station at 8:55 p.m. on February 20, 2026.

On the Hanoi–Vinh route, additional services include train NA3 departing Hanoi at 10:55 p.m. on February 14, 15 and 17, 2026; train SE35 departing Hanoi at 1:30 p.m. on February 15, 2026; train NA8 departing Vinh Station at 10:55 p.m. on February 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2026; train NA6 departing Vinh at 10:05 p.m. on February 19, 20 and 21, 2026; and train NA4 departing Vinh at 8:25 p.m. on February 19 and 22, 2026. Additional services also include trains SE34 (10:30 a.m.) and SE36 (1:30 p.m.) departing Vinh on February 19, 2026, and train SE38 departing Vinh at 8:10 a.m. on February 20, 2026.

Train tickets are now available through all official railway sales channels, including the websites dsvn.vn, vetauonline.vn and vetau.com.vn, as well as via e-wallets and payment platforms such as VnPay, Momo, ShopeePay, ZaloPay, Payoo and ViettelPay. Tickets can also be purchased via mobile ticketing applications, banking apps, at railway stations, ticket offices and authorized agents.
