Localities continue to diversify propaganda forms, ensuring election information is delivered promptly and fully to all voters.
On January 28, the Inspection Team No. 10 of the Haiphong City Election Committee, led by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Van Quan, nspected preparations for the elections of deputies to the 16th legislature and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term at Vinh Lai, Tan An, Hong Chau, Khuc Thua Du, Ninh Giang, Cam Giang, Cam Giang, Tue Tinh, and Mao Dien communes.
The City People's Committee Vice Chairman highly appreciated the serious, regulation-compliant preparations made by the localities, ensuring progress as planned. He urged grassroots support organizations to promptly issue comprehensive plans to ensure election work fully complies with regulations. He urged the province to strengthen communications work, carefully review candidates in accordance with statutory criteria, and ensure openness, transparency and democracy to avoid complaints and lawsuits.
Localities are fully preparing infrastructure, intensifying guidance and training, assigning tasks to support units, especially forces directly performing duties on election day.
Regarding proposals from localities, the City People's Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Quan requested the secretariat to compile and report them to the City Election Committee for review and timely resolution, ensuring the election proceeds on schedule, safely, and truly becomes a festival of the entire people.
