Pha Rung Shipyard has delivered the vessel “BS NGHI SON,” a 13,000-ton (Handysize) oil and chemical tanker designed by Fesdec of Korea.

Pha Rung Shipbuilding Limited Company has officially delivered the 13,000-ton oil and chemical tanker “BS NGHI SON” to its owner, while simultaneously holding a steel-cutting ceremony to commence construction of a new vessel, 13K-YN08.
The “BS NGHI SON” is a 13,000-ton Handysize oil and chemical tanker designed by Fesdec of Korea and classified by the Korean Register (KR). The vessel measures 128.6 meters in overall length, 20.4 meters in breadth, 11.5 meters in depth, and has a draft of 8.7 meters.
Following construction, testing, and final outfitting, the vessel successfully met all contractual technical and quality requirements and was officially handed over to the shipowner for commercial operation. The project further demonstrates Pha Rung Shipbuilding’s capabilities in constructing technologically advanced oil and chemical tankers.
Immediately after the delivery ceremony, the company conducted the steel-cutting ceremony for the 13K-YN08 oil and chemical tanker.
The delivery of 13K-YN04 “BS NGHI SON” and the commencement of construction of 13K-YN08 mark another important milestone in the production and business activities of Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company. The events further reinforce the company's position and reputation within Vietnam’s shipbuilding industry.
