The National Promotion Month 2026 will take place nationwide throughout July, allowing businesses to offer discounts of up to 100% on promotional products and services in accordance with current regulations.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently issued Decision No. 1184 on organizing the “National Concentrated Promotion Program 2026 – The First Vietnam Grand Sale in 2026.”
The nationwide campaign will run throughout July 2026 with the aim of boosting domestic consumption, supporting production and business activities, and contributing to economic recovery and growth.
According to the Organizing Committee, one of the most notable highlights of this year’s program is that businesses are allowed to offer discounts and promotional goods and services with a maximum value of up to 100%, in accordance with Circular No. 39/2025. This is expected to enable enterprises to proactively launch large-scale promotional campaigns while giving consumers greater access to products and services at competitive prices.
The program will be implemented simultaneously across traditional retail channels and e-commerce platforms. In addition to stimulating shopping demand, the Ministry of Industry and Trade expects promotional activities linked with trade fairs, exhibitions and local traditional festivals to help promote Vietnamese products, honor regional cultural identities and boost tourism.
To ensure the program is carried out transparently and effectively, the Ministry has assigned specific responsibilities to its affiliated agencies.
The Trade Promotion Agency will take the lead in guiding and supporting businesses participating in the program while simplifying administrative procedures during registration. Meanwhile, the E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency will work with e-commerce platforms to develop dedicated promotional campaigns and improve the online shopping experience for consumers.
Alongside trade promotion efforts, market supervision activities will also be strengthened to prevent violations. The Domestic Market Management and Development Agency will coordinate with provincial and municipal Departments of Industry and Trade to direct market surveillance forces to intensify inspections and monitoring, promptly detect and handle acts involving smuggled goods, counterfeit products, poor-quality goods, intellectual property violations and trade fraud taking advantage of promotional activities.
To protect consumer rights, the National Competition Commission will receive and process complaints and petitions related to signs of legal violations during the program period in accordance with regulations.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also called on industry associations to actively encourage their members to participate. At the same time, Departments of Industry and Trade nationwide are requested to proactively develop implementation plans and coordinate with media agencies to enhance communications so that both businesses and consumers can fully access information and benefits from the National Promotion Month 2026.
