Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee Le Trung Kien has urged local authorities to expedite site handover and ensure project progress.

Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Board of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, chaired a meeting with the People's Committees of Le Chan and An Bien wards on October 24 to review progress on site clearance and public investment disbursement and inspected several investment projects in the localities.
After inspecting project progress and hearing reports from representatives of departments, agencies, project owners, and local authorities on site clearance and construction, Vice Chairman Le Trung Kien commended the project owners and local authorities for swiftly taking action to implement key projects on space expansion, urban improvement and modernization that will directly affect the city’s growth.

Regarding the project to build a road connecting Rao 3 Bridge to the coastal road, along the section from Bui Vien Street to Provincial Road 363, Vice Chairman Le Trung Kien urged An Bien and Hung Dao wards to accelerate reviews and develop plans for land acquisition and site clearance.
The Hai Phong Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project owner, was asked to closely coordinate with local authorities and promptly transfer site clearance funds so that the authorities could make compensation payments and ensure the required pace of public investment disbursement.
For the project to build a road from Ho Sen Street to the Quan Mau intersection, Le Trung Kien urged Le Chan and Gia Vien wards to step up public communication and outreach to build residents' support for the project.

Regarding the project to renovate and upgrade sidewalks and the stone embankment along Dao Ha Ly River on Lan Be Street, from An Duong Bridge to An Dong Bridge, Vice Chairman Le Trung Kien asked An Bien Ward to press the contractor to mobilize sufficient personnel and equipment to complete the remaining construction items and finish the entire project in November.
For the project to build a flower garden in the area around the Niem Bridge roundabout, Le Trung Kien urged the An Bien Ward People's Committee to promptly complete all site clearance work to ensure the project proceeds on schedule.
Given the project's scale and advantageous location, An Bien Ward was also tasked to coordinate with the Department of Construction to finalize, within October, a landscape plan covering technical infrastructure, the architecture of several structures, and the types of trees to be planted in the garden.
