Hai Phong Party Secretary Le Ngoc Chau appointed Head of Housing Policy and Real Estate Market Steering Committee

The establishment of the steering committee underscores Hai Phong's commitment to strengthening state oversight of the housing and real estate sectors.

The Hai Phong Party Committee has established a Steering Committee on Housing Policy and the Real Estate Market to strengthen unified leadership and coordination in implementing Party guidelines, state policies and laws on housing and real estate market development across the city.

Under Decision No. 451-QĐ/TU, Le Ngoc Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Head of the city's National Assembly delegation, has been appointed Head of the Steering Committee.

Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee, has been appointed as Standing Deputy Head.

The committee's two Deputy Heads are Le Anh Quan, member of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee, and the Director of the Hai Phong Department of Construction.

The steering committee also includes leaders from a range of agencies, including the Hai Phong Public Security, the Hai Phong Military Command, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Finance, Justice, Home Affairs, Industry and Trade, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio-Television, the State Bank of Vietnam's Region 6, the Hai Phong Federation of Labor and other relevant agencies.

The committee will advise the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong Party Committee and coordinate implementation of Party guidelines, state policies and laws on housing and the real estate market across the city's political system, while helping ensure policy implementation is aligned with directions issued by the prime minister.

The Hai Phong Department of Construction has been designated as the committee's standing agency and will be responsible for supporting its operations, drafting its working regulations and proposing specific responsibilities for committee members.

The establishment of the steering committee reflects Hai Phong's commitment to strengthening state management of the housing and real estate sectors, supporting the city's socio-economic development goals, enhancing social welfare and improving residents' quality of life.
