Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau has called on Party committees and authorities to increase their care and support for Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and policy beneficiaries.
Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau visited and presented a gift to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Gai in Bac Dau residential group, Tran Hung Dao ward on the morning of August 4.
Secretary Chau warmly inquired about Mother Gai’s health and daily life. He expressed joy to see that she remains alert and healthy, staying well informed about national and local developments.
He wished her continued good health and happiness, and praised her as a shining example to inspire and educate younger generations about the dedication and sacrifices of those who came before in the cause of national liberation and defense, helping to instill patriotism and national pride.
Secretary Chau also urged Party committees and authorities at all levels to enhance their care and support for Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and families with contributions to the revolution.
Mother Tran Thi Gai, born in 1920, lost her husband, martyr Le Van Dien, in 1952 during the resistance war against the French colonials and her son, martyr Le Van Phuc, in the Southern battlefield during the resistance war against the US aggressors.
