Cat Bi International Airport served 811,242 passengers over the past three summer months, up 13.72% from the same period in 2025.

According to data compiled by Cat Bi International Airport, during this year's summer peak from June to August, the number of passengers traveling through the airport increased by nearly 98,000 compared with the same period last year.
During this period, the airport also handled 4,570 takeoffs and landings, up 14.36% year on year. The number of takeoffs and landings grew faster than passenger numbers, helping meet increased travel demand during the peak months.
To serve the higher passenger volume, Cat Bi International Airport increased staffing in crowded areas, proactively managed passenger flows and provided guidance to limit congestion during peak hours.
The airport expanded the self-service check-in kiosk area and applied biometric verification technology integrated with the automated gate system, helping shorten check-in and document-checking times and making flight procedures more convenient for passengers.
