Cat Ba cable car operates every day of the week

According to the Sun World Cat Ba, to better serve tourists during the summer travel peak, the line no longer closes on Wednesdays as before and has added an additional trip at 3:30 p.m.

Under the new schedule, the cable car runs six outbound and six return trips daily, departing at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. The travel time of each trip is about 10–15 minutes.

Adjusting the operating timetable helps increase the line’s service capacity, meeting the growing travel demand of tourists, especially during the tourism season. It also improves the flexibility of transport connections to Cat Ba Island.

The Cat Ba cable car line is nearly 4 km long and is invested and operated by the Sun Group. The current fare is VND 70,000 per trip for adults and children over 1 m; children under 1 m travel free of charge./.
