On August 28, the Municipal People's Committee issued an official dispatch requiring promotion of e-identification for organizations, businesses and cooperatives across the city. This aims to improve the efficiency of using e-identification accounts in administrative procedures, provision and use of digital services and signatures on the VNeID application. It also contributes to standardizing and cleaning up data on organizations and businesses across the city.
The Municipal People's Committee requires departments, agencies and commune-level People's Committees to review, guide, and urge organizations, businesses and cooperatives under their management to register e-identification accounts before September 30, 2026.
