Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong emphasized that developing a business community with strategic vision, strong management expertise and the confidence to integrate into the global economy was a key to sustainable development.
To put this policy into practice, the City People's Committee has issued decisions approving plans to train and develop capable business directors and managers for the 2022-2027 period.

The Keieijuku program was launched in Hai Phong in 2017 through cooperation between VJCC and the Hai Phong Association for Human Resources and Talent Development. From 2021 to 2025, more than 700 business leaders and key management personnel graduated from the training courses.
According to Vice Chairman Hoang Minh Cuong, the results of the Keieijuku program must be translated into tangible changes in production and business operations. Graduates are expected to put their medium- and long-term strategic plans into practice, apply advanced management methods, improve processes, optimize costs, proactively pursue digital and green transformations, and participate more deeply in global supply chains.

The Vice Chairman affirmed that the city would continue to support businesses and help resolve their difficulties, accelerate administrative reform and digital transformation, and build an open, transparent and fair investment and business environment. These efforts will create favorable conditions for business leaders to strengthen their management capabilities and competitiveness and contribute more effectively to the city's sustainable development.
The 9th Keieijuku program was the first to be held following the merger of Hai Duong Province and Hai Phong City, expanding the pool of eligible participants. Over one year, from October 2025 to October 2026, participants completed 11 training sessions, including eight theory sessions covering 11 specialized topics taught by five Japanese and six Vietnamese experts; a practical training session at Panasonic Vietnam; an internship in Japan; and a graduation project presentation. The curriculum covered strategic management, finance, human resources, supply chains, logistics, e-commerce and digital transformation.
