In his opening remarks, Do Tien Sy, Director General of the Voice of Viet Nam (VOV), stated that in the era of multi-platform media, radio is no longer just about listening but about the experience, not merely about delivering information but also about fostering emotional connection.

This requires radio professionals to adopt innovative approaches, enhance their capabilities, master new technologies, and create content to meet the ever-increasing demands of listeners.

The festival brings together 34 provincial and municipal press and radio-television agencies, the Military Radio-Television Centre, the Public Security Communications Department, and media organizations from across the country, with nearly 350 entries submitted across various categories.

Notably, amid the rapid digital transformation of journalism, this year’s festival features nearly 100 podcast entries, reflecting the growing multi-platform reach of audio content and marking the establishment of podcasts as a dedicated category of the festival.
