Techfest HaiPhong 2026 wraps up on a high note

After two days of vibrant activities, Techfest HaiPhong 2026, themed "Converging intelligence - Setting sail for innovation," officially wrapped up on the afternoon of August 5, completing its full program and leaving a strong impression on science, technology, and innovation communities.

The event truly became a festival of knowledge, technology, talent, and policy, serving as a gathering point for domestic and international innovation communities while promoting the rising aspiration of Hai Phong's innovation ecosystem.

A highlight of this year's event was the debut demonstration of the latest robotic technologies and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies, offering participants a firsthand look at emerging technological trends.

The exhibition and networking area attracted more than 3,000 in-person visitors, while tens of thousands more followed the event via the digital exhibition platform techfesthaiphong.vn.

Techfest HaiPhong 2026 brought together delegates and businesses from more than 20 provinces and cities across Vietnam, along with international partners from eight countries, including Singapore, South Korea, China, Thailand, Italy, Japan, and Spain.

As part of the event, organizers held two forums, two networking sessions, and one seminar, attracting around 700 delegates. Presentations and discussions focused on promoting innovation, strengthening connections among technology providers, talent, businesses, and markets, and proposing solutions to further develop Hai Phong's innovation ecosystem.

According to the organizing committee, the event reflected Hai Phong's dynamism, ambition, and commitment to making science, technology, and innovation key drivers of sustainable socio-economic growth.

A major milestone was the official recognition of the Provincial-level Innovation Startup Support Center at the opening ceremony. The center is expected to support innovative projects, accelerate their development, and contribute to building Hai Phong into a dynamic innovation hub befitting its position as Vietnam's third-largest economy.

On the occasion, the organizing committee honored seven outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals for their active participation in product exhibition, knowledge sharing, and efforts to promote innovation spirit throughout the event, namely HTI Investment and Technology JSC; TOPCV Vietnam JSC; Khanh Linh Trading and Technology Development Co., Ltd.; Work Zone Technology JSC; EUROVENT Green Solutions JSC; TA Water Treatment Technology Co., Ltd.; and Vicore Vietnam Technology JSC.
