In the first nine months of 2025, over 252,300 farming households across Hai Phong city registered for recognition as excellent production and business ones at various levels.
The Hai Phong Farmers’ Union held a meeting on October 11 to celebrate the 95th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union (October 14, 1930 – 2025).
Leaders of the city Farmers’ Union reported that after the recent merger of Hai Phong and Hai Duong province, the city now has 107 commune-level Farmers’ Unions with more than 549,000 members participating in 2,584 grassroots branches.
In the first nine months of 2025, over 252,300 farming households registered for the title of excellent production and business households at different levels.
The Farmers’ Support Fund strongly developed, reaching a total capital of over 178 billion VND, implementing 853 projects and supporting 4,448 households with loans.
The entrusted loan balance with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies exceeded 3.45 trillion VND, benefiting more than 57,300 households.
The union organized 326 training courses and 18 demonstration models at all levels, attracting nearly 81,000 participants. It also coordinated the supply of over 5,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,200 tons of animal feed, and 2,600 plants and livestock breeds, helping reduce production costs and improve economic efficiency.
