The 110kV Nam Dinh Vu 1 – Nam Dinh Vu 2 transmission line project plays a vital role in ensuring stable and flexible power supply for Nam Dinh Vu and Deep C industrial parks in Hai Phong city.
The Northern Power Corporation held a nameplate ceremony for the 110kV Nam Dinh Vu 1 – Nam Dinh Vu 2 transmission line in DEEP C industrial complex, Hai Phong city on the afternoon of July 25.
Commenced in November 2024, the project had a total investment of 73.9 billion VND. It was funded by the Northern Power Corporation and managed by Hai Phong Power Company.
After more than five months of construction under challenging weather conditions, the project was safely energized on May 16, meeting technical standards and the planned timeline.
At the event, a representative of the Party Committee of the Northern Power Corporation noted that from 2021 to 2024, Hai Phong’s commercial electricity output grew at an average annual rate of 8.63%.
To meet growing demand, the corporation has been implementing key projects across the city. From 2021 to 2025, it is investing in 39 projects in Hai Phong with total capital exceeding 4 trillion VND, of which 10 have been completed and energized, while 29 are under accelerated construction.
The Nam Dinh Vu 1 – Nam Dinh Vu 2 transmission line is a critical project that enhances connectivity between two 110kV substations, improves the reliability of power supply, and ensures stable and flexible operation for both Nam Dinh Vu and Deep C industrial parks, thereby meeting the growing electricity demands of major investors, significantly contributing to Hai Phong’s socio-economic development.
The project also lays an important foundation for the city to make breakthroughs and strengthen its role as a regional and national hub for industry and logistics.
